After drilling all the holes, you must apply sandpaper and tweezers or anything that can smooth out the holes. In my case, I have used a countersink to get clear holes.
Step 4
It is the other fun part of the task. You can paint the board as your wish. But before starting the painting session, you can use a little Vasoline or any petroleum jelly on the board. Actually, Vasoline will enable you to keep your paint from adhering.
Then remind the rustic that you want to see on your board. Take the paintbrush and paint as your wish. A fusion mineral paint will dry the board rapidly with a blow dryer. So, if you want to save your precious time, use a blow dryer and then dry the board instantly.
Step 5
Now it is time to measure out twenty inches of jute for each selected and dried flower. So, cut 25” pieces of the jute and add 3” jute to tie the knot to each of the ends. After that, please begin threading all of the jute into the hole. You have to go up through one side and down through the other side. Then lay out the long jute pieces straight down the flower board.
Actually, this is the part where you will tie each of the flower bouquets to the board. Now, thread the jute through the hole of the top corner and then tie the jute into place.
